Getting to Polesden Lacey

Getting to Polesden Lacey

At Embers Polesden Lacey, the parking and access is different to all our other sites.  As the National Trust is open from 10am to 5pm, we are not allowed to have movement of your vehicles during this time, but Embers can transport your tent to site so you can set up camp.

For Sat Nav users enter RH5 6BD, which will get you to the main entrance.

Parking at Embers Polesden Lacey

As the campsite is found within the unspoilt National Trust Polesden Lacey Estate, cars can only enter the campsite after 5pm for setting up camp.  If you arrive between the hours of 2pm and 5pm, park up in the main car park and visit our check-in desk in front of the National Trust Coffee Shop just outside their reception. You can then load up a trolley and walk to our site. If you’d like some help taking your gear to your pitch, our Site Staff will also let you know when the next shuttle run to our site will be happening.

If you're arriving after 5pm, you can drive directly up to the black gate and press 444 on the intercom. Our staff will then let you through to where you can check in and unload on site, before parking back in the main car park.

Cars are parked overnight in the main National Trust Car Park, about a 10-minute walk from the campsite.

Check out is 11am on the day of your departure, with all vehicles needing to be off site by 10am.
