Embers Camping is delighted to offer our campsite on the stunning river Thames just outside the town of Henley-On-Thames, world renowned for it's summer festivals and events.
The campsite is located beside the river Thames, making it the perfect destination for an action-packed river activities break, taking in the atmosphere of a nearby festival, or simply enjoying a fun filled stay with friends and family.
We love Henley, it's vibrant and has plentiful events during the summer! Our campsite is situated right on the waterfront and close to nearby festival locations, so expect some noise and atmosphere from a local event or festival during your stay.
We want you to enjoy your stay at Embers just as nature intended, but that doesn’t mean going without clean facilities.
All our bathrooms are kept meticulously clean and have flushing toilets and piping hot showers…a real comfort when you are camping, leaving you refreshed and ready to take on the day ahead, but please don’t forget to bring your own towel, as these aren’t included.
There are large spaces for games - so bring a football and enjoy a kickabout with the family. Embers is a tent only site, so you can pitch your family tent on our generous pitch sizes or hire a 5m Bell tent, pre-pitched before your arrival with superior airbed options.
We also have The Embers Snack Bar serving coffees, delicious hot food, all your snack & drink essentials and plenty of wood for you campfire. Every pitch at Embers comes with its own fire basket for you to enjoy and can even be used to BBQ, with the addition of a tripod and grill. As dusk draws in, the atmosphere at Embers is really quite special as everyone gets their campfires going, you'll understand why camping is made magical at Embers!
Our famous stone-fired pizzas are freshly made on site and individually fired. Available via pre-ordering before you arrive on site - keep an eye out for an email for pre-orders, about 5 days before you arrive on site.

Whether you decide to enjoy the local walks, get out on the river or explore the surrounding area, our local onsite staff can help you find the very best of what Henley has to offer. As we are located beside the river Thames, please follow water safety advice for your party here.
There's plenty to see and do, including the world-renowned Henley River Regatta and the Re-Wind Festival. There is also a lovely river walk into Henley which takes about 20 minutes from the campsite - a must to visit the local attractions!
The best way to explore Britain’s most historic river is of course on the water! Hire a self-driven boat, join a public cruise, or a private charter. Hobbs of Henley have 150 years of experience and have the largest fleet of boats on the Thames.
Step back in time and wonder through the regal gardens set high above the Thames. With woodlands, secluded glades, tree-lined avenues, and acres of land to explore, Cliveden is a fantastic setting for a family picnic, or an afternoon spent in nature.
Various self-driving boats available to hire, or relax and enjoy being driven on one of their cruises and soak up the beauty of the Thames from the water.

Specially chosen for their individual charm, these pubs are some of our favourites which serve local seasonal food and are sure to give you a warm welcome!
The Stag and Huntsman - set in the quaint village of Hambleden, a traditional pub serving seasonal food.
The Angel on the Bridge - within walking distance, this pub sits right on the river, perfect for watching the boats pass by.
The Golden Ball - a 17th century pub with a large garden to enjoy during those hot summer days.
Flower Pot - serving traditional pub grub in amidst their eclectic collection of taxidermy.
Check in is from 2pm until 8pm. You can drive directly up to the site where our staff will be there to check you in and then direct you to your pitch so you can set up camp. Once you've unloaded, we ask that you move and park your vehicle in the car park. No vehicles are allowed on site once check in has closed. This keeps the campsite full of safe, open space, perfect for little ones to be running around in.
