What We Offer at Pylewell Park, Campsite in The New Forest

What's on site

New this season is table tennis - great for kids to play amongst each other! There is a large area in the centre of the site to play volley ball, game of football or cricket with the family. Embers always has space to enjoy, so come on and enjoy your summer.

Embers is a tent only site, so you can pitch your family tent on our generous pitch sizes or hire a 5m Bell tent, pre-pitched before your arrival with superior airbed options. As we are located near the seaside, please follow water safety advice for your party here.

All our bathrooms are kept meticulously clean and have flushing toilets and piping hot showers…a real comfort when you are camping, leaving you refreshed and ready to take on the day ahead, but please don’t forget to bring your own towel, as these aren’t included.

Every pitch at Embers comes with its own fire basket for you to enjoy and can even be used to BBQ, with the addition of a tripod and grill. As dusk draws in, the atmosphere at Embers is really quite special as everyone gets their campfires going, you'll understand why camping is made magical at Embers!

hot food, beverages & the embers snack bar

Our famous stone-fired pizzas are freshly made on site and individually fired. Available via pre-ordering before you arrive on site - keep an eye out for an email for pre-orders, about 5 days before you arrive on site and sell out so book early.

Wake up in the morning and enjoy a cheese toastie or croissant from the Embers Snack Bar, which stocks all the drink & snack essentials - freshly ground barista coffee to super creamy ice-cream, snacks and ice-cold drinks essential for those hot summer days during your stay.

Seaside, ponies and Forest Trails

directions, check-in and parking

You'll find our site right on the beautiful coastline at Pylewell Park. We love a good view and oodles of safe space at Embers so ask that after unloading your vehicle you then park in the overnight car park for the duration of your stay. This also keeps the campsite full of safe open space, perfect for running around in and with open sight.

Check in is from 2pm until 8pm. You can drive directly up to the site where our staff will be there to check you in and then direct you to your pitch so you can set up camp. Once you've unloaded, we ask that you move and park your vehicle in the car park. No vehicles are allowed on site once check in has closed. This keeps the campsite full of safe, open space, perfect for little ones to be running around in.

Some roads and lanes near our campsite are very narrow and so access to our site is via Shotts Lane ONLY, please follow the instructions below instead of a Sat Nav once you're near site. Driving from Lymington, continue through onto South Baddesley Road and then past the Macdonald Elmers Hotel. After approx 800m take the 2nd turning on the right to Shotts Lane, then continue down the lane following directions to the campsite.
