NEW FOR 2021!! The Embers Turners Hill campsite is located in the beautiful Sussex countryside near the stunning Worth Abbey surrounded by a forest on an old Estate called Standinghall.
The tree-lined and private campsite is surrounded by miles of countryside to explore, whilst only being a short drive from local amenities and attractions - there's plenty to keep everyone active and busy! You’ll find everything Embers is known for with your own fire baskets included on every pitch for campfires, hire bell tents and our famous wood-fired pizzas.
We want you to enjoy your stay at Embers just as nature intended, but that doesn’t mean going without clean facilities.
All our bathrooms are kept meticulously clean and have flushing toilets and piping hot showers…a real comfort when you are camping, leaving you refreshed and ready to take on the day ahead, but please don’t forget to bring your own towel, as these aren’t included.
There are large spaces for games and trails to explore - so bring a football and enjoy a kickabout with the family. Embers is a tent only site, so you can pitch your family tent on our generous pitch sizes or hire a 5m Bell tent, pre-pitched before your arrival with superior airbed options.
Our onsite shop serves barista coffees, delicious hot food, snacks, drinks and some camping essentials.
Our famous wood-fired pizzas are freshly made and available every evening or indulge yourself in our new flame-grilled beef or halloumi burgers served on Friday and Saturday evenings. Both are only available via pre-ordering before you arrive on site - keep an eye out for an email for pre-orders, about 5 days before you arrive on site.
Our on-site shops stock all the camping essentials - from locally sourced bacon and farm-fresh eggs to cook your campfire breakfast to our freshly ground barista coffees, super creamy Cornish ice-cream, snacks and ice-cold drinks. Our shops also offer our freshly steamed Frankfurter Hot-Dogs in our soft and warm rolls. Check on-site with your Site Manager for availability and times.
You really are spoilt for choice at Embers Turners Hill as there's so much to see and do locally! From the escape rooms and drive in cinema at Tulleys Farm, to quad biking and archery at Southern Pursuit.
Make sure to bring your bikes with you as our site has super easy access to Worth Way, a beautiful 7 mile route along the disused Three Bridges to East Grinstead railway. Being part of the National Cycle Network, the route is perfect for cyclists and walkers.
Selfields Common National Trust, Standen House & Garden National trust and the amazing Weir Woods Reservoir are also nearby and offer a full day of water activities and country walks to help you unwind and enjoy.
See our super handy map here to view everything that the local area has to offer
You'll find our site nestled away in the trees just off Standing Hall Lane near Turners Hill.
Check in is from 2pm until 8pm. You can drive directly up to the site where our staff will be there to check you in and then direct you to your pitch so you can set up camp. Once you've unloaded, we ask that you move and park your vehicle in the car park. No vehicles are allowed on site once check in has closed. This keeps the campsite full of safe, open space, perfect for little ones to be running around in.
Due to our site's secluded and private location, we recommend using What3Words to guide you directly to the campsite entrance.
