Schools have use of our safe, open spaces, fun-filled activity packages, and all the creature comforts you and your pupils could wish for. We have everything you need to make your next camping residential or Duke of Edinburgh trip an experience your pupils will never forget!
All sites come complete with campfires, catering, if required, and a huge range of outdoor fun and educational experiences.
At Embers we can create bespoke packages to suit every school, providing the perfect introduction to camping and the great outdoors for your pupils.
Our instructor led activities include: Archery, Zorb football, Battle nerf, Mini laser, Teambuilding activities, Orienteering, Den building, Bushcraft, Dodgeball, Catch the flag, Scavenger hunt, Nightline & Tug of war
We will be very happy to advise you on which activities may best fulfil your requirements and which activities will work well together to make a cohesive and enjoyable programme.
Other activities such as badminton, volleyball, cricket, rounders, giant Jenga, football and more, are also available for your pupils’ free time. We can also recommend local, off-site attractions and activities to complement your time with us at Embers.
Embers rural locations, including sites close to the Surrey Hills and the South Downs, are perfect for your pupils to camp for the night as part of their next Duke of Edinburgh expedition, with prices from £9 per head. Each pitch comes with its own campfire for cooking.
All our sites come complete with home comforts such as hot showers and flushing toilets and some even have underfloor heating in the shower and toilet blocks. We insist on always taking the greatest care of the environment and 95% of our on-site energy is generated by solar power.
Enjoy an authentic camping experience with a night under the stars in one of our canvas bell tents. Each pre pitched tent sleeps 6 children and comes with roll mats, carpet and bunting. Teachers will experience creature comforts in their tents for two, with airbeds, duvets and pillows provided.
There are numerous catering options available which can be tailored to work with your chosen package. Our renowned pizzas are freshly made on site in our wood fired ovens and no camping trip would be complete without hot chocolate and marshmallows around the campfire at the end of the day!
One or two nights accommodation in our canvas bell tents from £35 per head with teachers going free (ratio 1:8). Full programmes including full board accommodation in canvas bell tents, instructor led activities and evening entertainment from £69 per head.
