What makes our campsites unique?

Since Embers opened its first site in 2013, we're proud to say that we have welcomed over 140,000 happy campers to our stunning campsites.

We have tried really hard to think of everything that you might need to make your stay extremely comfortable while still giving you the ultimate authentic camping experience. Each location is carefully chosen for its stunning setting, wide open spaces with nearby beautiful landscapes and outdoor activities. They are situated on large estates, off the beaten track and in secluded picturesque locations, giving you the perfect retreat to explore the countryside. From pre-pitched bell tents (if you’re the kind of camper who prefers pre-pitched, of course) to roaring individual campfires and homemade wood-fired pizzas, it all adds to the Embers magic.

At Embers Polesden Lacey and Bentley, you'll find super-clean oak-framed washrooms, complete with underfloor heating – yes, we like a little bit of home comfort too! Our newer sites are a less formal set-up, but you still get campfires, flushing toilets, piping hot showers and other amenities you'd hope for such as a campsite shop serving barista coffee's to supplying locally sourced bacon & eggs for your campfire breakfast.

And because our sites are off-limits to cars, caravans and camper-vans, they’re always a safe space for kids to play in.

All this why Embers Camping are the go-to camping company for families with young children in the know.

Our stunning National Trust location in the Surrey Hills.

At Embers Polesden Lacey, we are proud to offer the unique experience of camping at one of England’s most beautiful National Trust properties. As the campsite is centrally located within the grounds of the Polesden Lacey Estate, during their opening hours (10am-5pm) you’ll enjoy direct access to the famous House and gardens. Further afield, there are 1,400 acres of ancient woodland and timeless trails to be explored from the campsite.
