Camping is even better with friends! We welcome groups of all sizes (but do please check availability with our office first, to make sure we can fit you in to avoid disappointment).

When making a booking, simply enter "Yes" that you are camping in a group and ensure you use the same Group Booking Name for everyone in the party (You choose this - choose something unique or silly, if you'd like!) so our Campsite Managers can note your group.

Please note that while we're always happy to note pitch location requests, we can't guarantee specific pitch or tent placements in advance, in line with our booking policy. This is most applicable for groups with varying unit types (e.g. a grass pitch and a premium bell tent, for example) as most premium accommodations are on fixed bases or areas.

Here at Embers we keep our sites vehicle-free, that way they're safe and open for all to enjoy!

You're welcome to drive up to your pitch to unload, we then ask you to park in our on-site car park for the duration of your stay. On your day of departure you're able to drive up to your pitch again to pack up. Outside of the check-in and check-out process, however, the sites remain vehicle-free.

Please note each booking allows for one vehicle.

We don't have electric hook-ups on our sites. However, our premium accommodation has "in-tent" charging points.

We'd recommend bringing a USB power bank to charge those devices you can't leave at home.

**As of 27th July 2026, we have advised that the use of campfires across all Embers campsites has been prohibited until further notice due to the prolonged period of exceptionally dry weather in England, and the recent wildfire events across the UK and Europe. For more information, please check our Booking Policy below**

Yes you can - here at Embers we love a good BBQ!

Your pitch will come with a fire basket that you are welcome to BBQ in, you'll just need to bring a grill along with you to cook on or buy a freestanding grill from our shop (subject to availability). We do have grill rests on site which you can borrow with a deposit and place in your fire basket, to rest your grill or pot on to BBQ. Our fire baskets are square in size (60cm x 60cm).

You're also welcome to bring your own BBQ, you just need to make sure it is off the ground.

Disposable BBQ's are not permitted, as they have a very high environmental impact.

If you have any access requirements, please get in touch before you have made a booking and we'll help make the necessary arrangements for you to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

All of our sites has a communal freezer which you are welcome to re-freeze ice blocks in. We do politely ask that you don't use this to freeze food or cool drinks.  If you have any medication that needs to be kept refrigerated overnight, please ask before arriving on site.

Sorry, our campsites are tent-only sites. Mainly as we don't have hard standing pitches.

We kindly ask that guests who have not booked, do not attend the campsite. Please get in touch with us if you have additional guests and we can add them to your booking, availability dependent.

Day visitors are strictly not permitted, so to avoid any embarrassment please do not bring visitors to the site. Our sites all have wonderful local attractions and spaces where meet ups can be arranged.

Yes, you're welcome to bring a gazebo. You'll just need to make sure it is popped up in your allocated pitch area and not more than 2m x 2m.

We're super generous in our pitch sizes here at embers and so you'll have a space of 8m x 8m for your tents. You're welcome to bring 1 x medium / large tent or up to 2 x small tents for your pitch, as long as they (and their guideropes) fit within this space.

No, we don't allow supermarket or food deliveries to our campsites. However, we do offer a fully equipped snack bar at all our locations - please check out our menu to plan what you may need to bring!

We love dogs, but sadly we're unable to accept or allow dogs on site at any time.

Our cancellation policy can be viewed at the bottom of this page.
