Can I camp with my friends / in a group?

Camping is even better with friends! We welcome groups of all sizes (but do please check availability with our office first, to make sure we can fit you in to avoid disappointment).

When making a booking, simply enter "Yes" that you are camping in a group and ensure you use the same Group Booking Name for everyone in the party. That way, our Campsite Managers can pitch you all together.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy can be viewed at the bottom of this page.

Can I park my car next to my pitch?

Here at Embers we keep our sites vehicle free, that way they're safe and open for all to enjoy!

You're welcome to drive up to your pitch to unload, we then ask you to park in our on-site car park for the duration of your stay. On your day of departure you're able to drive up to your pitch again to pack up.

What items does the on-site shop stock?

Our on-site shops stock all the camping essentials - from locally sourced bacon and farm-fresh eggs to enjoy a campfire breakfast to our freshly ground barista coffee, super creamy Cornish ice-cream, snacks and ice-cold drinks. Please see below for a full list of items our shops stock.

NEW FOR 2021!!  Freshly steamed Frankfurter Hot-Dogs in our soft and warm rolls. Check with your Site Manager for availability and times.

Do you have electric hook-ups?

We don't have electric hook-ups on our sites. We'd recommend bringing a USB power bank to charge those devices you can't leave at home.

Can I have a BBQ on site?

Yes you can - here at Embers we love a good BBQ! Your pitch will come with a fire basket that you are welcome to BBQ in, you'll just need to bring a grill along with you to cook on or buy a freestanding grill from our shop (subject to availability). We do have tripods on site which you can hire (£10/stay) and place in your fire basket, to rest your grill or pot on to BBQ. Our fire baskets are square in size (60cm x 60cm).

You're also welcome to bring your own BBQ, you just need to make sure it is off the ground.

Is there somewhere I can freeze my iceblocks?

All of our sites has a communal freezer which you are welcome to re-freeze ice blocks in. We do politely ask that you don't use this to freeze food or cool drinks.  If you have any medication that needs to be kept refrigerated overnight, please ask before arriving on site.

Can we bring caravans or motor homes?

Sorry, we're tent only sites. Mainly as we don't have hard standing pitches.

Can I bring a gazebo for shade?

Yes, you're welcome to bring a gazebo. You'll just need to make sure it is popped up in your allocated pitch area and not more than 2m x 2m.

Do you allow Dogs?

We love dogs, but sadly we're unable to accept or allow dogs on site at any time.

Can we bring multiple tents?

We're super generous in our pitch sizes here at embers and so you'll have a space of 8m x 8m for your tents. You're welcome to bring multiple tents for your pitch, as long as they (and their guideropes) fit within this space.
