Here at Embers we keep our sites vehicle free, that way they're safe and open for all to enjoy!
You're welcome to drive up to your pitch to unload, we then ask you to park in our on-site car park for the duration of your stay. On your day of departure you're able to drive up to your pitch again to pack up.
We don't have electric hook-ups on our sites. We'd recommend bringing a USB power bank to charge those devices you can't leave at home.
Yes you can - here at Embers we love a good BBQ! Your pitch will come with a fire basket that you are welcome to BBQ in, you'll just need to bring a grill along with you to cook on or buy a freestanding grill from our shop (subject to availability). We do have grill rests on site which you can borrow FOC and place in your fire basket, to rest your grill or pot on to BBQ. Our fire baskets are square in size (60cm x 60cm).
You're also welcome to bring your own BBQ, you just need to make sure it is off the ground. Please do not bring your own disposable BBQ, as they have a very high environmental impact
If you have any access requirements, please get in touch once you have made a booking and we'll help make the necessary arrangements for you, all to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.
All of our sites has a communal freezer which you are welcome to re-freeze ice blocks in. We do politely ask that you don't use this to freeze food or cool drinks. If you have any medication that needs to be kept refrigerated overnight, please ask before arriving on site.
Sorry, we're tent only sites. Mainly as we don't have hard standing pitches.
Yes, you're welcome to bring a gazebo. You'll just need to make sure it is popped up in your allocated pitch area and not more than 2m x 2m.
We're super generous in our pitch sizes here at embers and so you'll have a space of 8m x 8m for your tents. You're welcome to bring 1 x medium / large tent or up to 2 x small tents for your pitch, as long as they (and their guideropes) fit within this space.
We love dogs, but sadly we're unable to accept or allow dogs on site at any time.
